Unemployeed Girl Seeks Employment With Stable Company....
That's right, for those of you who don't know just yet...I lost my job almost 5 weeks ago.
I had the opportunity to work for an AMAZING non-profit...that was the down side...they had NO-PROFIT!!! Unfortuantely, due to the economic crunch, funding had dropped significantly and they had to let 3 of us go :-(
So, here I am...taking a break from Job hunting to fill you all in.
I trust the Lord has a great plan for me and I'm really looking forward to this new chapter in my life that He's writing...just wish I could get an advanced copy of His book on Alecia :-)
Well, keep me in your prayers and I'll keep hitting the pavement, running toward that new place God has for me.

From Ashes to Africa
Thanks to a friend of a friend, I was able to see this amazing website, From Ashes to Africa. For those that are interested in adoption, this could be very encouraging to you and those who never thought of adoption, this could be a new perspective for you.
Ephesians 1:3-6
3-6How blessed is God! And what a blessing he is! He's the Father of our Master, Jesus Christ, and takes us to the high places of blessing in him. Long before he laid down earth's foundations, he had us in mind, had settled on us as the focus of his love, to be made whole and holy by his love. Long, long ago he decided to adopt us into his family through Jesus Christ. (What pleasure he took in planning this!) He wanted us to enter into the celebration of his lavish gift-giving by the hand of his beloved Son.
