Fun Times at the Arts Festival!!!

Last Sunday I HAD to go to the Arts Festival...which, let's get real, no one really goes there for the art unless they plan on dropping a couple grand on a tiny piece of art! The real reason everyone rolls out is for the DELICIOUS fair food! I had some amazing Indian food and Strawberries Newport...Mmmm MMMM! Which I totally forgot to take pictures of, probably because I was too worried about my food flying away due to the tornadic winds we had! The picture below is a great shot of us walking against the CRAZY wind...it was unbelievable!

Yup...that's right...we laid down on the sidewalk downtown...probably a bit dangerous considering we don't know what's been on those sidewalks!!!

Sunday was the Oklahoma Memorial Marathon in Memory of what happened 14 years ago...here are a couple of unsuspecting participants :-)

I love this picture that I took of Jen...I really like how it turned out!

This couple was the BEST Art that we saw at the Arts Festival...sooo sweet...we couldn't resist taking their picture!

Hope you enjoyed looking at these pics. We had a great time taking them! I love the Downtown shots...sooo fun.

Went to Ryan & Kerby's for burgers and fun. Had a great time just hangin' out with new friends and eating delicious food...strong work on the burgers guys!

No wonder she held onto that mug all day and she was soooo "cheery"! LOL

Love 146

I came across this blog on a friends site. It's a topic very dear to my heart and have had opportunities to minister to young women rescued out of this form of slavery. I hope you're informed about what's going on in our country and around the world regarding the topic of sex slavery.

Cuppies & Joe

One of my favorite places to visit in OKC...Cuppies & Joe. Delicious cupcakes and a variety of drinks from Iced Green Tea to Latte's and of course a nice cup of Joe!

A storm rolling in...it was GORGEOUS

Easter Weekend

Had a great weekend with friends and family. Got to go to my church that I miss soooo much and see friends that I haven't seen since I moved. Sweet time. I got to see my niece wearing the dress I got her from Ethiopia...she looked soooo cute! It rained a ton, so no easter egg hunt outside :-(

My Sweet Niece

Love her!!! On my birthday my mom called and while I was talking to her she asked Catrina if she wanted to tell my happy birthday, so...Catrina gets on the phone and in her little raspy voice, sings her own version of Happy Birthday...it was SOOOO STINKIN' CUTE!!! I just love her to pieces and would hug her forever if she would let me!

Tulsa State Fair with Cora!!!

I told Cora that I would take her to the State Fair and I TOTALLY forgot when the day came...I remembered around 7pm and called her parents to see if I could still take her...I didn't want to let her down. They said sure, so I picked her up and we jetted to the Fair. We had a great time. Cora had her first Funnel Cake and we rode the swings. It was a fun time for the 2 of us! Love you Corky! :-)
